Meet our staff
Amanda, Business Associate:
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Dr. Sonner for 10 years and truly enjoy being part of a team that values quality care and patient comfort. Outside the office, I’ve been happily married for 15 years and am a proud mom to one amazing son. I love traveling, soaking up the sunshine, enjoying great food, and winding down with our two dogs.
Christie, Business Associate:
I was born and raised in Wakarusa. After being a patient of Dr. Sonner’s since childhood, I was blessed to join his staff in 2022. When I’m not at work, I’m usually outside with my husband and toddler, soaking up the sun and finding new adventures.
Devin, Business Associate:
Hi, my name is Devin, I live in North Liberty, Indiana with my husband Stephen and our son Leo. I’ve been working at Dr. Sonner’s office since December 2018 as a front office business assistant. I enjoy greeting all of our patients every time I work and look forward to meeting the scheduling and administrative needs of our patients.
Rachel, Licensed Dental Hygienist:
Hi, I’m Rachel! I graduated from the University of Northwest Indiana in 2002 with a degree in dental hygiene and have loved working in the field ever since. I truly enjoy the friendly, welcoming atmosphere we’ve built here and take pride in helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. When I’m not at the office, I’m usually with my husband and our three kids—gardening, camping, or cheering them on in sports and 4-H.
Jessica, Licensed Dental Hygienist:
My name is Jessica, and I graduated from the Indiana University South Bend Dental Hygiene program in 2010. Being a dental hygienist has been my dream since I was old enough to look towards a career. I have two wonderful children who keep me busy when I am not working in dental care. We love the outdoors, camping, hiking, running, and so much more!

Nicole, Expanded Dental Assistant:
Hello! My name is Nicole, I have been an E.F.D.A. for 32 years and cannot imagine doing anything else. I graduated from IUSB in 1993. I absolutely love what I do, love working with such a great team, and our amazing patients. It’s such a great feeling to see people get the results they’re after for a wonderful life-changing and healthy smile.
When I’m not in the dental office, you can find me at the lake, spending time swimming, boating, fishing and kayaking. I am an avid bird watcher, and also love to paint or do anything crafty.
Kathleen, Office Assistant:
I am the wife of Dr. Sonner and the proud mother of four amazing children: Kassandra, Nathan, Vanessa, and Cassidy. I also have four wonderful grandchildren—Aiden, Anya, Bert, and Sophia—who bring so much joy to my life. My children are my greatest accomplishments. I attended Indiana University in Bloomington and South Bend, graduating from the IU School of Dental Assisting. I also studied Interior Design and Floral Design at IU and Ivy Tech. My favorite place to be is on the beach, searching for treasures and spending time with my family.
Cassidy, Practice Manager:
Hi, I’m Cassidy! I graduated from NorthWood High School and continued my education at Indiana University South Bend. For over 11 years, I’ve worked alongside Dr. Sonner- starting as a dental assistant and growing into my current role as Practice Manager. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my daughter, Sophia, and our goldendoodle, Sperry. Whether we’re traveling, camping, gardening, or cheering on the Irish, we’re always finding ways to enjoy the little moments together.
